Dear coaches, parents and players:
 
Please be advised that the Fall 2010 Academy season will begin with practices the week of September 6.   
 
The WSA has chosen this start date to ensure the best possible experience for our players. 
 
We currently have a shortfall of parent coaches that we are working hard to fill, and we hope that delaying the start of the season by a week with ensure that those positions are filled.
 
If you are contacted about coaching, please realize there is an urgent need and consider volunteering.
 
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me to discuss.

The Wilton Soccer Association needs a few more League Directors for the upcoming fall season in the Academy soccer program:   

• 3^rd/4^thgrade girls,  
• 4^th/ 5^thgrade boys and
• 7^th/ 8^thgrade girls.

 ALL WSA Volunteers:

As we make preparations for the Spring soccer season, it has become necessary for the WSA to implement a new procedure to ensure the maximum safety for our children athletes.  The CJSA (Connecticut Junior Soccer Association) has mandated that all coaches, assistant coaches, managers and parent volunteers within the WSA programs provide certian background information as part of the registration process. 

As a club, ALL our volunteers are required to complete the background check for insurance purposes. The process is very simple and is mapped out below.

• This brings you to the CJSA Information page where your must check the box and click accept;
• You are now at the CJSA Welcome page where you click get started;
• The next page is - What to Expect? Click go;
• You now see all the CJSA Clubs listed, click on the Wilton club link, 
• Now select package 1 and next;
• Application page appears where all required fields must be filled in and click next;
• Confirmation page appears
